AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Construction Director for a large-scale rail infrastructure project in Dubai, UAE. The role requires leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to oversee the construction of tunnels, viaducts, and iconic stations. The ideal candidate will have 20+ years of experience, including at least 7 years in a similar role. As a senior professional, you will ensure the delivery of the project on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a multi-functional site supervision team to deliver a large-scale rail infrastructure project, including tunnels, viaducts, and stations.

• Manage stakeholder relationships, liaising with the Client organization and government departments.

• Oversee construction management, ensuring compliance with schedules and contractual responsibilities.

• Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest health & safety standards.

• Monitor resources to meet current and future project needs and maximize opportunities.

• Lead and manage large, multi-disciplined site teams and ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of BSc, BEng, BA, or equivalent; Chartered status is preferred.

• Over 20 years of experience in large-scale construction operations, with at least 7 years in a similar role.

• Experience with heavy civil works, including tunnels, viaducts, infrastructure, and iconic building assets.

• Proven track record in delivering multi-functional infrastructure projects, preferably rail.

• In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, project controls, quality, and health & safety.
