Role Overview:
As a Compliance Officer – Data & Analytics, you will play a key role in proactively identifying and mitigating financial crime risks using advanced data analysis. Your insights will guide the Group Chief Compliance Officer (GCCO) and Group MLRO in shaping risk strategy and policy decisions.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct targeted financial crime thematic reviews based on data-driven, risk-based approaches

Analyze internal and external intelligence to identify emerging financial crime threats

Use tools like SAS, SQL, and Python to analyze suspicious activities, customer behavior, and transaction patterns

Create dashboards and detailed reports that provide actionable insights to senior management

Collaborate with internal teams and regulators to strengthen risk detection and compliance controls

Support predictive analysis to develop advanced FCC risk appetite models
Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Banking, Finance, Compliance, Data Science, or Statistics

2+ years of experience in AML, financial crime investigations, or regulatory compliance

Proficiency in SAS Enterprise Guide/Miner, SQL, Python, and MS BI tools

Expertise in data visualization, descriptive and predictive analytics

Advanced Microsoft Excel (Macros, Power Query)

Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills
