Job Title: Compliance Associate – Fintech Operations

Job Description:

At Pemo, we are on a mission to empower MENA business owners by simplifying and enhancing spend management. Our all-in-one platform helps businesses control finances effortlessly, enabling teams to spend smarter and operate more efficiently.

As a Compliance Associate, you will play a vital role in our Operations team, ensuring a seamless customer onboarding experience while maintaining regulatory compliance. Your efforts will be key to Pemo’s growth, allowing us to onboard new clients efficiently while upholding the highest standards of compliance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Compliance & Onboarding

• Support and optimize compliance processes to streamline customer onboarding.

• Ensure all regulatory requirements are met for new and existing clients.

• Conduct KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) checks as per industry standards.

📌 Process Improvement & Analysis

• Analyze and refine compliance workflows to enhance efficiency.

• Collaborate with the Operations team to implement compliance best practices.

• Stay updated with industry regulations and provide recommendations for process improvements.

🤝 Communication & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a point of contact for compliance-related queries.

• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations.

• Support customers by guiding them through compliance procedures.

About You:

✔ Graduate degree in Law, Business, or Finance.
✔ Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) in English (Arabic is a plus).
✔ Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
✔ Ability to work in a remote, fast-paced environment with global stakeholders.
✔ Prior experience in banking, finance, or fintech compliance is a plus.
✔ Comfortable working Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM (DXB time).
