Position: Compensation & Benefits Specialist

Join Hays Middle East as a Compensation & Benefits Specialist, leading total rewards design and implementation for clients across the region. This is a high-impact role for a compensation professional who brings deep expertise in market analysis, reward strategy, and policy development.
You will work closely with client HR leaders and internal stakeholders to design programs that support attraction, retention, and engagement, while ensuring equity, compliance, and market competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, administration, and communication of compensation, benefits, and recognition frameworks.

Conduct salary benchmarking, market analysis, and develop competitive pay structures.

Advise clients on job evaluations, pay equity, promotions, and grading frameworks.

Design and manage annual performance-based rewards programs including bonus and equity plans.

Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and regulatory standards.

Use analytics to evaluate reward program effectiveness and recommend enhancements.

Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, and leadership stakeholders.

Mentor junior team members within the Hays Talent Advisory Practice.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).

Minimum 5 years’ experience in compensation and total rewards in the UAE/GCC region.

Strong technical skills in reward analytics, grading structures, and job architecture.

Proficient in Excel-based modeling and compensation tools.
-
CCP or other compensation-related certifications highly preferred.

Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration experience.

Deep understanding of local labor laws, tax implications, and compliance protocols.
