AWS is seeking a Communications Manager to join their Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey (MENAT) communications team. The role involves managing integrated communication plans for AWS, including launching new services, features, programs, and customer success stories. The Communications Manager will collaborate with internal business stakeholders, partners, and customers to drive media relations, customer stories, and proactive PR campaigns, showcasing AWS as a technology leader.
Key Responsibilities:
📰 Media Relations – Manage press opportunities and build strong relationships with key journalists and bloggers.
📈 PR Campaigns – Plan and execute integrated PR campaigns to enhance AWS visibility and media coverage.
💡 Customer Stories – Develop compelling customer success stories and public speaking opportunities.
🤝 Collaboration – Work cross-functionally with business leaders and external partners to develop communication strategies.
🧑💼 Agency Management – Manage PR agency to deliver high-quality, successful campaigns.
Skills & Experience Required:
🎓 Experience – Extensive experience in public relations, particularly in the tech industry.
📢 Communication Skills – Excellent written and oral communication in both English and Arabic.
🤝 Media Relationships – Strong media contacts with top-tier business, technology, and general press.
💼 Tech Understanding – Ability to communicate complex technology topics effectively.
🔄 Collaboration – Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple tasks.
