Position Overview
We are looking for a Communication Lead to join our Gulf team, responsible for driving both internal and external communications strategies aligned with Sanofi’s global and regional priorities. This role is both strategic and hands-on, supporting stakeholder engagement, brand reputation, and corporate initiatives across the Gulf region.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Communications

Design and execute internal engagement campaigns and colleague-focused events.

Maintain internal channels including intranet (My Sanofi), in-office dashboards, and digital publications (Zoom magazine, What’s On).

Create content such as news articles, features, speeches, and briefings.

Partner with business units to raise awareness of key therapeutic areas.

Localize and implement global communication initiatives.

Act as an internal communications advisor to various departments.
External Communications

Manage and enhance external platforms including the corporate website and social media.

Serve as media contact, cultivating relationships with journalists and influencers.

Develop press releases, fact sheets, FAQs, and leadership speeches.

Collaborate with PR and social media agencies for campaign execution.

Drive corporate messaging and brand positioning in the Gulf region.
Compliance & Governance

Adhere to Sanofi’s Code of Ethics and governance protocols.

Uphold high standards of professionalism and protect Sanofi’s reputation.
Health, Safety & Environment

Promote a safe and healthy work environment by following safety protocols.

Report incidents or near misses, and support investigations to improve workplace safety.

Internal: Medico-Marketing Teams, Key Functions, GMs, Country Chair, Leadership Team

External: Media, PR, Creative Agencies, Influencers
Candidate Profile
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
Experience
-
Minimum 4 years in a communications function within a multinational corporation or PR agency.

Prior experience as a Communications Manager or Account Manager.

Experience in healthcare communication is a strong plus.

Excellent English writing and speaking skills (Arabic is a plus).
