Beach Rotana is looking for a Commis II – Pastry Kitchen who is passionate, creative, and driven to support the pastry section. This full-time, on-site role involves daily food preparation, maintaining hygiene, and ensuring high standards of dessert production under the guidance of senior chefs.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I in daily kitchen operations

Prepare pastries as per menu specifications and recipe standards

Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the work area
-
Monitor and manage food stock and cost in your section
-
Execute daily mise en place and production duties
-
Follow instructions from kitchen superiors to complete tasks efficiently
-
Ensure consistency and quality in all pastry preparations
-
Collaborate with other kitchen sections to maintain cost control and cleanliness
Skills & Requirements:
-
Professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef’s training course
-
Prior experience in quality kitchen environments
-
Good communication skills in English
-
Sound knowledge of pastry preparation, presentation, and preservation

Ability to work in a high-pressure, multicultural environment
