Al Bandar Rotana & Al Bandar Arjaan by Rotana is currently hiring a Commis II to join their culinary team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will assist in daily food preparation across kitchen sections, maintain hygiene standards, and support senior chefs in producing high-quality dishes. This full-time, on-site position is ideal for kitchen professionals who thrive in a dynamic hospitality environment.
📌 Key Responsibilities:

Support the Commis I or Demi Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations

Prepare mis-en-place and cook according to menu specifications

Maintain high hygiene standards in all assigned kitchen areas

Control food stock and assist in cost management within the section

Participate in food production for various kitchen sections

Follow chef instructions and complete daily kitchen duties

Ensure consistent food quality, innovation, and presentation standards

Collaborate with team members across sections to reduce waste and ensure cleanliness

Professional kitchen apprenticeship or culinary training certification

Prior experience in quality hospitality establishments

Strong food preparation, presentation, and preservation knowledge

Effective communication in English
