Centro Hotels by Rotana is seeking enthusiastic and dynamic Commis II professionals to join their vibrant culinary team. This full-time, on-site role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen environment focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences and culinary creativity.

As a Commis II, you will support senior kitchen staff in daily food preparation, maintain hygiene standards, manage food stock, and contribute to quality and consistency across all dishes. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, proactive in learning, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Demi Chef de Partie and Commis I in daily kitchen operations.

• Work according to recipes and menu specifications set by Chef de Partie.

• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the workstation in accordance with hotel standards.

• Monitor and control food stock and food cost in your section.

• Prepare daily mis-en-place and participate in food production across different sections.

• Follow directions and recommendations from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.

• Uphold high culinary standards and keep current with new products and preparation techniques.

• Cooperate with other kitchen sections to maintain cleanliness and control wastage and costs.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Completion of a professional kitchen apprenticeship or chefs training course.

• Previous experience in quality food establishments.

• Solid culinary skills, including food preparation, presentation, and preservation.

• Good command of English is essential.
