IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated Commis Chef for their Holiday Inn and Suites Dubai Science Park location. The role involves preparing visually appealing and flavorful meals, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and taking responsibility for the workstation, supplies, and equipment. The Commis Chef will also assist with kitchen duties such as washing up and perform other tasks as required, working as a team player in a dynamic kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present meals that are both appealing and delicious

• Maintain and manage workstation supplies, equipment, and waste

• Uphold strict cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with local laws

• Assist with washing and other kitchen duties as needed

• Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Skills & Qualifications:

• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform bending/kneeling

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills

• Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and holidays

• Compliance with local food handling and alcohol service laws

• Strong communication skills; warm and welcoming attitude
