As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting Mediterranean-inspired dishes that uphold Hyatt’s high standards of quality and authenticity. Your role is essential in maintaining smooth kitchen operations while honoring Mediterranean culinary traditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and cooking Mediterranean-inspired dishes according to established recipes and quality standards

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations

• Present dishes that showcase the vibrant and fresh flavors of Mediterranean cuisine

• Collaborate with senior chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations

• Help manage kitchen inventory, ensuring supplies are stocked and available

• Support senior chefs with daily culinary tasks, demonstrating professionalism and discipline

• Exhibit a strong passion for Mediterranean cuisine and a commitment to developing culinary skills

Skills & Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef or similar entry-level culinary role preferred

• Passionate about cooking and food quality

• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and culinary techniques

• Strong work ethic with the ability to perform well under pressure

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team

• Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards

• Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays
