ANdAZ Dubai The Palm, part of the Hyatt International family, is hiring a Commis Chef to join its culinary team. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for candidates with 1 year of experience as a Commis Chef or 2 years as an Apprentice in a high-standard hotel or restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing consistent, high-quality food and delivering courteous, professional service that aligns with the outlet’s concept and Hyatt’s global standards.
Responsibilities:
– Prepare high-quality food products consistently and efficiently.
– Ensure all food preparation meets HACCP hygiene and food safety standards.
– Support the Chef de Partie or Demi Chef in daily kitchen operations.
– Take full responsibility for your assigned section and tasks.
– Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
– Deliver service that reflects the brand’s values of excellence and flexibility.
Requirements:
– Experience:
– Minimum 1 year as a Commis Chef or
– 2 years as an Apprentice in a reputable hotel or restaurant.
– Skills:
– Basic culinary skills
– Good hygiene knowledge
– Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
