Job Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Commis 1 to join our Bakery team at Isola. You will assist in preparing breads, pastries, and baked goods under the guidance of the Pastry Chef, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation in a fast-paced, fine dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and production of bakery items including breads and pastries.

• Follow standard recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.

• Maintain quality and freshness of all bakery products.

• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bakery section.

• Properly store ingredients and manage inventory levels.

• Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations.

Ideal Candidate:

• 1–2 years of bakery or pastry kitchen experience, preferably in fine dining or luxury hotel settings.

• Knowledge of classic Italian and European baking techniques is a plus.

• Passionate about artisanal baking with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment.

• Good time management and organizational skills.
