Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager with a strong background in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying to oversee large-scale projects in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The successful candidate will lead all commercial and contractual activities, ensuring financial efficiency, contract compliance, and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the estimating team to manage seamless project handover.

Prepare and manage all contract documentation and cash flow forecasts.

Oversee project insurance, guarantees, and ensure contractual compliance.
-
Allocate responsibilities across the commercial team and manage team performance.

Negotiate with clients, consultants, and PQS for timely valuation updates and final account agreement.

Visit sites, oversee cost tracking, manage claims, and ensure project profitability.

Evaluate subcontractor bids, conduct adjudications, and oversee final selection.

Authorize procurement activities and monitor site cash flow and expenditure.

Supervise document control systems and ensure proper archiving post-completion.

Report on cost reconciliations, project progress, and ensure contract obligations are met.

Mentor and lead a team, ensuring high performance and commercial excellence.
Candidate Requirements:

Education:
-
Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
-
Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS or equivalent) preferred.

Experience:
-
10 to 16 years in commercial management within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.

Strong experience in contract law, insurance, CCS software, budgeting, and negotiation.

Skills:

Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.

High proficiency in financial modeling, cost control, and reporting.

Deep understanding of HSE standards, construction laws, and contractual risk.

Expertise in drawing analysis and subcontractor management.
