Job Overview
Vista is seeking a multifaceted Commercial Counsel to join its international Legal team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing company by providing commercial legal support across multiple brands and product lines, including contract drafting, negotiation, and cross-departmental collaboration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements such as charter contracts, loyalty programs, marketing agreements, licenses, leases, vendor contracts, SLAs, MSAs, NDAs, and more.

  • Collaborate directly with third parties, clients, and legal counsels on negotiations.

  • Provide pragmatic and deal-focused legal advice aligned with business objectives.

  • Lead projects across departments, from initial scoping through implementation.

  • Support global litigation matters including investigations, mediations, and settlements.

  • Maintain and improve company legal templates, document repositories, and contract management processes.

  • Monitor legal developments, conduct research, and advise relevant stakeholders.

  • Assist with legal support on diverse company functions including HR, Tax, and Operations.


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Qualified attorney licensed to practice law in Dubai.

  • 4-5+ years of relevant in-house or law firm experience with contract drafting and negotiation.

  • Strong commercial mindset with attention to detail.

  • Proven project management skills and proactive approach.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to explain legal concepts to non-legal audiences.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as needed.

  • Flexible to work hybrid hours (10 AM – 7 PM) and occasionally outside standard hours to collaborate with UK/US teams.

  • Digital literacy with proficiency in MS Office and legal tools.

  • Professional, empathetic, collaborative, and adaptable personality.

  • Fluent in English (oral and written).


Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with English or New York consumer and commercial law.

  • Experience working with sales teams and international clients, particularly in the Middle East.

  • Interest or experience in aviation, luxury, and travel industries.

  • Exposure to commercial litigation, corporate law, consumer law, and employment law.
