Job Summary:
SEHA is hiring a Clinical Social Worker for Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering psychological, emotional, social, and environmental support to patients and their families through expert assessments and interventions. Arabic-speaking candidates with the required academic background and clinical experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients’ needs and develop tailored intervention plans.

• Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring care plans align with their needs and preferences.

• Support discharge planning, ensuring coordination with internal and external agencies.

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to address patients’ physical, emotional, and social needs.

• Liaise with legal authorities when necessary and prepare relevant documentation.

• Provide crisis intervention and psychoeducation to patients and families.

• Maintain clinical records, ensure confidentiality, and uphold the highest standards of social work practice.

• Monitor and support junior staff and contribute to supervision and training programs.

• Comply with SEHA’s quality, safety, and infection control standards.

• Participate in hospital committees, training, and continuous professional development.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree in Social Work

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

• Must be Arabic speaking

• Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and organizational skills

• Familiarity with UAE healthcare systems and cultural sensitivity is preferred
