As a Clinical Psychologist at Aspris Middle East, you will provide psychological treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and their families dealing with a variety of mental health issues. Your responsibilities will include managing a caseload through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of therapeutic techniques. You will conduct both individual and group counseling sessions to assist patients requiring therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapeutic interventions across various modalities such as CBT, CFT, EMDR, Trauma-focused CBT, and DBT.

• Ensure interventions, treatments, and activities comply with relevant regulations.

• Advise guardians, relatives, and significant others on patients’ conditions and treatment plans.

• Build rapport with patients and deliver effective counseling while tracking progress.

• Conduct one-on-one support therapy and group therapy sessions.

• Prepare and write psychological assessment reports.

• Contribute to developing specialist pathways and provide team guidance, including supervision.

• Complete all service monitoring requirements on time and to a high standard, ensuring full compliance.

• Continuously update knowledge in the field, attending relevant CPD courses.

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team at the Centre.

• Participate in team meetings, supervision, and training as required.

• Refer clients to other healthcare professionals where appropriate.

• Perform other duties as delegated in line with service provision.

Knowledge, Education, and Skills

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in psychology.

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university.

  • Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology or in a specialized area of counseling is preferred.

• License: DHA License holder.

• Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including fluency in both Arabic and English.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to work with diverse individuals and adapt to changing needs.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions.

• Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.

• Must be able to communicate clearly with patients and staff, both verbally and in writing.

• Flexibility with respect to working hours.
