The American Center for Psychiatry and Neurology (ACPN), a leading mental health and neurological care provider in the UAE, is seeking a full-time Clinical Psychologist to join its multidisciplinary team in Abu Dhabi. This on-site role is ideal for an experienced, compassionate, and licensed mental health professional dedicated to improving the psychological well-being of patients.
As a Clinical Psychologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of emotional, behavioral, and mental disorders. Your work will involve psychological testing, individual and group therapy sessions, and collaboration with psychiatrists, neurologists, and other healthcare professionals. You will play a critical role in implementing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Provide psychotherapy and counseling for individuals, families, and groups.

Conduct psychological testing and prepare detailed evaluation reports.

Offer clinical supervision and mentorship when applicable.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals.

Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure confidentiality.

Stay up-to-date with advancements in clinical psychology and treatment approaches.
Skills and Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a closely related field.

Valid licensure or certification to practice Clinical Psychology in the UAE or eligible for licensure.

Experience in psychological testing, diagnosis, and therapeutic treatment.

Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based interventions.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.

Prior experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare environment is a plus.
