Job Title: Clinical or Counseling Psychologist

Job Description:

We are seeking qualified and experienced Clinical or Counseling Psychologists to join our growing team in Dubai, specializing in the treatment of eating disorders. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about transforming mental health outcomes through client-centered care, evidence-based interventions, and a commitment to excellence.

As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will work directly with clients to support their treatment journey through individual therapy, group interventions, and collaboration with families and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, deliver, and review treatment using structured tools and within agreed timelines

• Provide one-on-one therapy using evidence-based CBT-e and a range of psychosocial approaches

• Facilitate structured group therapy sessions

• Conduct monthly support groups for service users and carers

• Set clear, measurable treatment goals and regularly review progress

• Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to ensure holistic care

• Ensure all safeguarding protocols (including child protection and vulnerable adults) are followed as per policy

• Attend monthly supervision and contribute to professional development discussions

• Produce treatment reports and action plans as required

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection and information-sharing policies

• Represent the organization professionally and promote services to stakeholders and the public

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Expertise in working with individuals with eating disorders

• Experience with children, adolescents, and/or adults

• Experience working with diverse and multicultural populations

• Clinical supervision experience is a plus

• Arabic language proficiency is a plus, but not required

Education & Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology

• Minimum of 3 years (Doctorate) or 5 years (Master’s) professional experience

• At least 1 year of experience working with eating disorders

• Eligible for licensure with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) or Community Development Authority (CDA)
