Position Summary
The Clinical Application Specialist – Physician will leverage clinical and IT expertise to guide the successful deployment of InterSystems TrakCare solutions, with a focus on Oncology and physician-related applications. The role combines process consulting, configuration, training, and support throughout the product implementation lifecycle, including on-site client interaction and travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Discovery Phase

Review proposals and tenders, identify functional gaps

Analyze clinical workflows and propose best-fit solutions
-
Deliver solution presentations to prospective clients
Launch Phase
-
Conduct customer workshops and induction sessions
-
Advise clients on solution adoption to improve current processes
-
Map product functionality to customer needs and document solution design
Setup Phase
-
Configure the application for client environments
-
Create and validate test scripts
-
Troubleshoot implementation issues and manage change requests
Adoption Phase
-
Conduct “dry run” simulations
-
Prepare training materials and lead “train the trainer” sessions
-
Provide on-site support during go-live
Sustain Phase
-
Liaise with internal departments to resolve remaining issues
-
Complete support handover documentation
Ongoing Responsibilities
-
Maintain accurate documentation
-
Stay up-to-date with new TrakCare functionalities
-
Share application knowledge with internal teams
Qualifications
Essential
-
Medical Degree (MD), preferably in General Medicine or a Clinical Specialty
-
Minimum 3 years’ healthcare experience, including clinical or administrative exposure

Experience with EMR systems (e.g., TrakCare)
-
Strong communication and customer-facing skills
-
Ability to conduct client workshops, presentations, and training
-
Understanding of healthcare workflows and change management
-
Strong documentation and business process mapping skills
-
Fluent in English
Desirable
-
Previous roles as Application Specialist or Configuration Specialist

Experience working with government or private sector healthcare organizations
-
Good general IT knowledge and software testing experience
Working Conditions
-
Must be available for frequent travel, possibly up to 5 days per week

Flexibility to work on-site at client locations as project demands
