Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Climate Change & Decarbonization Consultant to join our integrated Climate Change and Decarbonization team, supporting projects across the Middle East and Europe.

We work on prestigious projects such as sustainability policy development, community developments (Al Zahia, Tilal Al Ghaf), hospitality mega-projects (AMAALA, Red Sea), and high-profile office and residential buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

🌍 Climate Change & Sustainability Policy Implementation

• Manage the development, execution, and documentation of sustainability policies.

• Ensure compliance with climate change frameworks, carbon accounting, and net-zero strategies.

• Track and oversee project team adherence to sustainability policies and regulations.

📑 Project & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and project teams.

• Oversee project timelines, resources, and quality control to ensure successful outcomes.

• Provide technical support in energy, carbon, water, and waste management strategies.

📊 Research, Development & Communication

• Conduct climate-related research, deliver technical presentations, and develop white papers.

• Represent Alpin at regional conferences, seminars, and speaking engagements.

• Stay up to date on sustainability standards (LEED, BREEAM, Estidama, Mostadam).

🛠 HSE & Compliance

• Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies and contribute to minimizing environmental impact.

• Adhere to Alpin’s Integrated Management System and contribute to its enhancement.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

✔ 5+ years of experience in sustainability consulting, climate change policy, or the built environment.
✔ Strong understanding of MEP, construction management, and project design.
✔ Expertise in carbon accounting, GHG Protocol, and net-zero strategies.
✔ Proficiency in LEED, BREEAM, Al Sa’fat, Estidama, Mostadam (certifications preferred).
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
✔ Excellent planning, organization, and stakeholder communication skills.
✔ Fluent in English & Arabic (preferred).
✔ UAE experience and a valid UAE driver’s license are advantageous.

💡 Preferred: PMP certification, Master’s degree, UAE citizenship (or Arabic nationality).
