Client Services Manager – Financial Services Domain

Role Overview:

The Client Services Manager plays a strategic role in managing key client relationships within the Financial Services domain. You will be responsible for business development, account mining, proposal negotiation, and delivering tangible business value to clients. The role involves building strong internal collaboration and maintaining Infosys’ brand value while driving account growth and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Client Management:

  • Drive market development and customer prospecting.

  • Identify, qualify, and lead sales opportunities.

  • Interface with client executives to understand needs and align Infosys solutions.

  • Navigate accounts to uncover deal opportunities and build pursuit teams.

  • Develop, recommend, and defend winning proposals and pricing models.

Account Growth & Delivery:

  • Develop and execute account plans aligned with growth targets.

  • Lead MSA/SOW negotiations and manage contracting cycles.

  • Resolve client delivery escalations and complaints effectively.

  • Monitor account receivables and ensure timely payments.

  • Conduct account reviews and ensure long-term account mining.

Operational Excellence & Leadership:

  • Provide internal teams with deep customer and market context.

  • Mentor and guide account teams to align with client expectations.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure project execution and delivery.

  • Support client M&A activities and integrate strategic initiatives.


Required Knowledge & Skills:

Domain Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of IT outsourcing business models.

  • Proficiency in financial analysis (IRR, NPV, ROCE, etc.) and business case creation.

  • Familiarity with legal, regulatory, and contractual frameworks in IT services.

  • Ability to evaluate and explain statistical models and commercial scenarios.

Core Skills:

  • Structured and consultative communication.

  • Business case development and presentation skills.

  • Conflict resolution, negotiation, and stakeholder management.

  • Relationship-building, leadership, and strategic thinking.

  • Political landscape awareness within large client organizations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Demonstrated experience in managing large IT accounts in the Financial Services sector.

  • Proven ability to develop, negotiate, and close high-value IT services deals.
