Role Overview
A leading fund services provider is seeking an experienced Client Services Director – Fund Administration to lead the establishment and growth of its Fund Administration service line in the UAE. Based in Dubai, this senior leadership role combines operational ownership, client service excellence, team leadership, and business development within the alternative investment funds space.
The successful candidate will oversee service delivery, manage complex client portfolios, build and lead an international team, and play a key role in expanding the firm’s presence and revenue in the UAE and wider GCC market.
Key Responsibilities
Fund Administration & Service Line Leadership

Take full ownership of the Fund Administration service line in the UAE, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and scalable service delivery

Oversee a diverse portfolio of fund clients, ensuring appropriate allocation of resources and consistent service excellence

Act as Client Director / Senior Client Director for selected client entities

Serve as an authorised “A*” signatory, subject to board and committee approvals
Strategic & Financial Management

Actively contribute to senior management discussions relating to financial performance, budgeting, and risk management

Manage performance against agreed KPIs, revenue targets, and budgets

Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, profitability, and long-term business performance
Client Relationship & Business Development

Develop, retain, and strengthen long-term relationships with clients, intermediaries, advisors, and introducers

Lead business development initiatives in collaboration with UAE leadership to grow the local client base and revenue
-
Represent the firm in senior-level client meetings and industry engagements
Governance, Risk & Compliance
-
Ensure robust corporate governance frameworks in line with UAE regulatory requirements and group policies
-
Lead adherence to AML, risk, and compliance procedures, including oversight of transfer agency matters
-
Manage risks associated with both individual client portfolios and the wider business

Remain vigilant regarding unusual transactions and reporting obligations
Leadership & Team Development

Build, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Fund Administration team
-
Inspire a strong stakeholder-focused culture aligned with the group’s values
-
Support talent development, succession planning, and continuous professional development (CPD)
Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement

Prepare and contribute to board papers, ExCo, and divisional reports
-
Attend and lead senior governance, client, and management meetings as required

Liaise closely with internal and external professional advisors
Requirements
Essential Criteria
-
Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred
-
Minimum 10 years’ experience within financial services, with deep expertise in fund accounting and fund administration
-
Strong experience working with alternative investment funds (Private Equity, Private Debt, Hedge Funds, Real Estate, etc.)

Proven senior leadership and people management experience

Prior experience operating within the UAE/GCC market (essential)

Strong international exposure and experience working with global senior stakeholders
-
Exceptional technical knowledge across fund services, governance, and regulatory frameworks
-
Native or near-native English communication skills (essential)
Salary & Benefits

AED 55,000 – 60,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances)
