Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of civil and structural works including excavation, foundations, concrete works, rebar installation, formwork, blockwork, waterproofing, and finishing.

• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and safety standards.

• Monitor contractor performance, identify non-conformances, and ensure timely corrective actions.

• Verify material deliveries and confirm compliance with approved submittals and quality requirements.

• Support Resident Engineers and Project Engineers in supervising on-site civil works.

• Maintain detailed site records including inspection reports, NCRs, and daily logs.

• Participate in coordination meetings, progress reviews, and technical discussions.

• Provide technical guidance and report deviations to ensure project alignment.

• Coordinate inspections and testing with third-party laboratories when required.

• Assist in implementing QA/QC procedures and maintaining project quality standards.

• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and permit-to-work regulations on site.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in civil/structural inspection roles.

• Proven experience working on major high-rise or low-rise construction projects in Dubai.

• Strong understanding of international construction standards, QA/QC processes, and safety regulations.

• Excellent documentation, reporting, and coordination skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
