Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Landscape Inspector to join our award-winning team in Dubai. The successful candidate will oversee on-site landscape construction activities, ensuring all works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.

This role requires strong site supervision expertise, technical knowledge of landscape construction, and familiarity with UAE regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect landscape construction activities including softscape, hardscape, irrigation systems, and related civil works.

• Ensure all landscaping works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, Dubai Municipality regulations, DEWA requirements, and other relevant authorities.

• Monitor contractor performance, workmanship quality, and adherence to project schedules.

• Conduct routine site inspections and prepare detailed inspection and progress reports.

• Review contractor submissions including method statements, material approvals, and shop drawings.

• Identify non-conformances and recommend corrective actions where necessary.

• Maintain accurate records of site activities, materials, inspections, and quality documentation.

• Coordinate effectively with resident engineers, landscape engineers, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues.

• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on site.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in landscape inspection within infrastructure or urban development projects.

• Previous experience with engineering consultancies or supervision consultants in the UAE/GCC is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of landscape construction techniques, irrigation systems, and softscape/hardscape materials.

• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality regulations and other local authority standards.

• Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications accurately.

• Proficiency in MS Office and standard construction reporting tools.

• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
