Info Resume Edge – GCC is looking for a skilled and experienced Cisco Certified Network Specialist to join its IT infrastructure team in Dubai. This full-time, on-site role involves the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust and secure network infrastructures. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless connectivity, optimizing network performance, and supporting both in-house and remote IT operations. This role is ideal for network professionals who hold Cisco certifications and have a passion for problem-solving in a high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

• Install and manage LANs, WANs, Internet, and intranet systems across the organization.

• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.

• Perform Cisco IOS upgrades, apply security patches, and ensure compliance with network policies.

• Configure and manage firewall rules, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.

• Provide technical support for internal teams and resolve connectivity issues.

• Document all configurations, changes, and maintenance activities.

• Collaborate with third-party vendors to support project implementation.

• Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution related to networking.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Cisco certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE (depending on experience level).

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in network administration or infrastructure roles.

• Strong command of Cisco routing, switching, and network security technologies.

• Proficient with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark).

• Hands-on experience with routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.

• Knowledge of VLANs, VTP, STP, and other Layer 2 technologies.

• Familiarity with VPNs, ACLs, and firewalls for secure communication.

• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Cisco DNA Center, Cisco Meraki, or SD-WAN.

• Familiarity with cloud networking solutions (AWS, Azure).

• Understanding of VoIP and Quality of Service (QoS) setup.

• ITIL certification or experience working in ITIL-managed environments.
