To carry out skilled installation, maintenance, operation, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning (AC) systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards at ENGIE’s facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

• Diagnose and repair faults in AC equipment and chiller plants.

• Log equipment performance data and conduct routine inspections.

• Requisition necessary materials and spare parts to ensure seamless operations.

• Verify the quality and accuracy of supplied AC system components.

• Ensure timely activation of AC systems to support site operations.

• Troubleshoot malfunctions and recommend replacements when repair costs exceed replacement value.

• Clean equipment regularly and maintain plant room/workshop safety.

• Install air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings per standard procedures.

• Clean filters, grills, and components on installed systems.

Skills Required

• Proficient in repairing various types of AC units and HVAC systems.

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.

• Ability to identify system malfunctions and carry out effective repairs.

• Familiarity with split and package-type AC unit installations.

• Competence in replacing worn or defective components.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of a 2-year vocational course in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience as an AC Technician or in a similar role.

Other Requirements

• Physically fit, energetic, and alert.

• Capable of working independently and handling extended hours if needed.
