The Higher Colleges of Technology is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Child Care Worker to join its nursery team. This role involves working under the supervision of the Manager/Administrator to deliver high-quality physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care to children in a safe and nurturing environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting children’s development in alignment with early years education frameworks, promoting their communication and social skills, and working closely with parents and guardians to ensure consistent care and developmental support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-standard care and learning opportunities for children within the nursery setting.

• Foster social, emotional, and communication development in children.

• Ensure a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for child learning and play.

• Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families.

• Observe, document, and report on each child’s progress and achievements.

• Collaborate effectively with team members to implement early years educational frameworks.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Prior experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Compassionate, patient, and nurturing demeanor.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism.

• Knowledge of early childhood development and early years curriculum.
