Role Overview

On behalf of our client, a diversified landscape and infrastructure group operating across the UAE, Guildhall is seeking an accomplished Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance function at a strategic level.

This is a senior executive leadership role responsible for shaping financial strategy, driving performance optimisation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting ambitious growth initiatives, including capital raising and potential IPO readiness. The CFO will work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to enable sustainable, long-term growth across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a group-wide financial strategy aligned with business objectives and expansion plans

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management across multiple entities and geographies

• Oversee financial reporting, governance, internal controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance

• Provide commercial and strategic insights to the CEO and executive leadership to support decision-making

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering accountability and excellence

• Manage relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and external financial stakeholders

• Drive finance transformation initiatives, including digital systems implementation, process optimisation, and operational efficiency

• Support mergers, acquisitions, capital raising, and IPO preparation, as required

• Monitor and analyse key financial performance indicators, implementing strategies to optimise profitability and sustainable growth

• Ensure succession planning and leadership development within the finance function

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• Master’s degree (MBA/Finance) and/or professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred

• 15–20 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including 5–10 years in a senior CFO or equivalent role

• Proven expertise in multi-entity and regional group finance, ideally within the UAE and GCC markets

• Strong experience in capital-intensive businesses and high-growth environments

• IPO exposure or readiness experience is a strong advantage

• Demonstrated success in strategic financial planning, transformation initiatives, and system implementation

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Hands-on, commercially minded approach with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
