About the Company:
A prominent trading company based in the UAE, recognized for dynamic international operations across the Middle East, China, and Korea. We are expanding and seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial operations, drive banking relationships, and optimize financial processes to support continued growth.
Role Overview:
As the CFO, you will be responsible for strategic financial planning, managing liquidity, banking operations, and overseeing accounting and tax compliance within the UAE. You will also manage exchange rate risks and drive strong financial governance across our international trading activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Open and manage corporate accounts with UAE and Middle East banks.

Ensure efficient, prompt, and cost-effective payment processing.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to identify new business opportunities.

Oversee receivables and ensure timely return of funds from international customers (China, Korea, etc.).

Manage margin formation for UAE Trade House operations.

Lead cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and treasury operations.

Supervise a team of two (Finance Manager and Accountant) to ensure operational excellence.

Manage accounting for exchange rate differences and implement hedging strategies across CNY, CNH, USD, AED, and RUB currencies.

Oversee all accounting and tax reporting in compliance with UAE regulations; coordinate with external auditors and consultants.

Monitor changes in UAE tax legislation and assess their impact on business operations.
Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years’ finance experience in trading companies or banking (corporate business).

Proven track record of working effectively with UAE banks and managing commercial contracts.

IFRS certification or strong understanding of international accounting standards.

Solid knowledge of the UAE tax system and proactive tracking of regulatory changes.

Strong analytical skills and ability to handle large volumes of data accurately.

High attention to detail, thoroughness, and commitment to financial integrity.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Fluent in English; proficiency in Russian or Chinese is highly desirable.
Salary and Benefits:

Salary: AED 35,000 – 40,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances)
