About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to lead financial operations for a renowned international quick-service restaurant brand. In this role, you will oversee financial reporting, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial data to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Consolidate and update financial data for assigned SBUs.

• Analyze trial balances, investigate anomalies, and prepare variance reports for management review.

• Prepare and review statutory schedules and disclosures in line with regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate with external auditors during interim and year-end audits, addressing queries and resolving issues.

• Review and reconcile GL accounts, ensure monthly bank reconciliations, and recommend adjustments or clean-up actions.

• Summarize and present key financial insights to the Finance Head.

• Drive improvements in financial reporting accuracy, detail, and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

• Open to Arabic-speaking candidates, preferably aged 45 and below.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Chartered Accountant certification required).

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within QSR, F&B, or FMCG industries.

• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, statutory compliance, financial controls, and reporting standards.

• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
