UPS, a Fortune Global 500 company, is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Center Clerk to support the smooth and efficient flow of packages and shipments in Dubai. This role involves managing data, handling shipments, resolving operational issues, and coordinating with internal teams and third-party logistics partners. The ideal candidate will be proficient in data management and problem-solving to ensure timely and accurate delivery services.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipment and Data Management:

• Perform accurate and timely data entry, updating shipment details such as IDs, weights, and statuses in logistics systems

• Maintain and update reports related to shipment volumes, status, and customer information

• Verify data accuracy and perform quality checks on manually entered information

• Process and manage packages, ensuring correct sorting and preparation for loading

Problem Resolution and Communication:

• Investigate and resolve issues related to undeliverable or misaddressed packages by reviewing customer information and coordinating with stakeholders

• Communicate with customers to resolve delivery issues, provide shipment updates, and collect necessary information

• Handle Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) processes including collections coordination and shipment updates

• Act as a liaison between internal teams and external logistics partners regarding shipment status and operational issues

Operational Support:

• Coordinate with third-party logistics providers for outbound collections and vehicle arrangements

• Assist with inbounding and packing of 3PL shipments

• Provide regular updates on shipment volumes and operational status to the team

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting

• Familiarity with Logistics Management Systems (LMS) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

• Knowledge of Power BI is an advantage

• Exceptional attention to detail for data accuracy and problem-solving

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers and partners

• High school diploma or higher education; certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields are a plus
