ACWA Power is seeking a skilled CCR Operator to monitor and control operations and parameters from the plant’s control room. The position involves maintaining steady operations to meet production targets in line with ACWA NOMAC’s work instructions and safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate assigned units/plant from the control panel as per defined procedures, adjusting conditions and product flows as necessary.

• Ensure effective communication with field operators and initiate corrective actions to maintain operations within agreed parameters.

• Maintain and update control room logs and registers; ensure smooth shift handovers.

• Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, or escalate for maintenance as needed.

• Coordinate equipment isolation and normalization as per Permit to Work procedures.

• Provide on-the-job training to junior team members to meet quality standards.

Health, Safety, Security & Environment:

• Adhere to all health, safety, security, and environmental standards.

• Regularly monitor environmental parameters and report deviations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• A Technical Diploma in Engineering.

• 3-5 years of experience in control room operations within power or water desalination units.

• Knowledge of relevant plant equipment and control room operations, including systems like DCS, SCADA, and PLC.

• Awareness of HSE and quality standards, with strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.

• Team collaboration and mentoring skills.
