Role Summary:
SEPHORA is looking for a Category Merchandiser Trainee to join its team in Dubai. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for individuals passionate about product assortment, merchandising, and omnichannel marketing in the fast-paced beauty industry. The position offers exposure to retail operations, marketing coordination, and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Assortment Management & Merchandising:

Compile planograms and merchandising books
-
Update the Minis & Extended assortment calendar based on confirmed launches
-
Assist with new SKU regulation and compliance processes
-
Prepare post-launch reports and weekly merchandising updates
-
Handle data entry for internal systems, newness trackers, and reporting
-
Provide support for product forecasting and item creation for new launches
-
Assist in weekly planning meetings for Minis & Extended categories
Sephora Favorites Program:
-
Support compliance and regulation processes for featured SKUs
-
Maintain the Sephora Favorites tracker and update assortments
-
Prepare post-launch reports and manage follow-ups on operational steps
Omni-channel & Marketing Coordination:
-
Collaborate with Omni and E-commerce teams to implement product visibility strategies
-
Prepare weekly Omni presentations related to Minis & Extended
-
Coordinate with PR and CRM teams to ensure timely marketing execution
Qualifications & Skills Required:
-
Agility, adaptability, and the ability to perform under pressure
-
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills (written & verbal)
-
Prior experience in retail or FMCG is an advantage

Detail-oriented with a proactive, collaborative attitude
