Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) is currently seeking a qualified Cashier (UAE National) to join its finance team in Dubai. This role is essential for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, focusing on incoming payments received via various channels.

As a Cashier, you will play a critical role in securing and handling financial collections while maintaining accurate documentation and following strict compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in cash handling, data entry, and reconciliation, and should be capable of working both independently and as part of a professional finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor access and security of collected cash across various locations.

• Post and issue receipts into the system with proper General Ledger (G/L) allocation.

• Verify invoices and bill statements before accepting payments to ensure accuracy.

• Inspect cheque validity and correctness to prevent cheque dishonors.

• Ensure POS systems are functional and ready for credit card transactions.

• Coordinate with banks for deposits of cash and cheques on a daily basis.

• Reconcile physical cash and cheque balances with system data at the close of each business day.

• Maintain updated cash register logs and ensure all financial records are accurate and current.

• Prepare and submit daily transaction and collection reports to the supervisor.

• Report any discrepancies within accounts promptly.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma in Commerce or Business Administration (or equivalent qualification).

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a cashier or similar finance role.

• Fluent in both English and Arabic (spoken and written).

• Proficiency in MS Office; SAP experience is a plus.

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

• Effective time management, communication, and organizational abilities.

• Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
