Job Title: Cashier 

Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Cashier to join our retail team in Dubai, UAE. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring a smooth checkout experience, delivering outstanding customer service, and maintaining the overall organization and security of the checkout area.

As a Cashier, you’ll be the face of our store—responsible for greeting customers warmly, answering their questions about products and promotions, and ensuring accurate and efficient transactions. Your role will also involve supporting store operations, promoting product awareness, and helping to maintain a clean and welcoming store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers with a friendly and professional demeanor.

• Handle customer inquiries related to product availability, pricing, and general store information.

• Ensure fast and accurate processing of transactions at the cash register.

• Verify product prices, quantities, and discounts to avoid checkout discrepancies.

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the checkout counter, including restocking bags and organizing displays.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve customer concerns and improve service efficiency.

• Follow company policies and security protocols to prevent theft and ensure asset protection.

• Support upselling and cross-selling strategies to increase sales and enhance customer experience.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Keen attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash and transactions.

• Adaptable and quick to learn new POS systems and store technologies.

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with a positive attitude.

• Familiarity with retail products and a proactive approach to assisting customers.

• Prior experience in a retail or cashiering role is a plus.

• Must be currently residing in Dubai, UAE.
