The Perfect Gift ® Dubai is seeking a talented, creative, and reliable Cake Baker to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for those passionate about baking and creating exceptional baked goods. As a Cake Baker, you will be responsible for preparing, baking, decorating, and ensuring high standards of quality and hygiene in all baked items.

We are looking for individuals who have a flair for creating beautiful and delicious cakes, cupcakes, pastries, and more, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Bake and prepare a variety of items including cakes, bread, cupcakes, macarons, cookies, brownies, and pastries.

• Measure and mix ingredients to create batters, doughs, and fillings, ensuring accuracy.

• Decorate cakes with Swiss buttercream, whipped ganache, royal icing, glazes, and other toppings (experience in decoration is an advantage but not required).

• Create customized cakes for events such as birthdays and special occasions.

• Ensure food hygiene practices are maintained at all times.

• Track ingredient supplies, manage stock, and place orders when necessary.

• Clean and maintain all baking equipment and workstations, including ovens, mixers, and refrigerators.

• Minimize waste by properly rotating ingredients and ensuring appropriate portion sizes.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in baking (preferably in cakes, pastries, and custom orders).

• Basic food hygiene training certificate (Dubai Municipality certification is an advantage).

• High school diploma or equivalent (an associate’s degree in food preparation is a plus).

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with long hours and the flexibility to work nights and holidays.

• Knowledge of food safety practices and the safe use of kitchen equipment.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

• A high level of self-motivation, adaptability, and attention to detail, especially for quality control.
