Job Title: Café Operations Manager – Dubai

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Café Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of our vibrant café in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, a flair for customer service, and a results-driven approach to team leadership and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations Management

  • Oversee and streamline all daily café functions, ensuring efficient workflow across all departments.

  • Supervise opening and closing protocols, cash handling, and adherence to security measures.

Staff Recruitment & Supervision

  • Hire, train, and manage a team of baristas, servers, and kitchen staff.

  • Plan shift schedules, delegate tasks, and ensure team performance aligns with brand standards.

  • Deliver continuous training and coaching to drive service excellence.

Customer Service & Experience

  • Address customer feedback and resolve complaints efficiently.

  • Foster a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and ensure consistent, high-quality service.

Inventory Control & Vendor Coordination

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels for food, beverages, and café essentials.

  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure timely ordering and delivery of stock.

Financial Oversight

  • Handle daily cash flow, bank deposits, and reconciliation.

  • Analyze sales trends, prepare budgets, and implement cost-control measures to boost profitability.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with UAE food safety and hygiene regulations.

  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and operational safety.

Marketing & Promotion

  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns to increase footfall and revenue.

  • Leverage social media, local partnerships, and seasonal offers for brand visibility.

Maintenance & Facility Management

  • Manage maintenance schedules and oversee repairs of café equipment and facilities.

  • Act swiftly to address any operational disruptions.

Strategic Contribution

  • Collaborate with senior management to set goals and drive business growth.

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to maintain market relevance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4–6 years of experience in F&B or café operations management.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

  • Proficient in POS systems, inventory management tools, and MS Office.

  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.

  • Budgeting and financial reporting proficiency.

  • Marketing and brand promotion knowledge is a plus.

  • Must be currently based in the UAE.
