Lucy Electric is seeking a skilled Buyer to manage end-to-end procurement operations, including vendor management, purchase order execution, and logistics coordination. The ideal candidate will support material availability for production, monitor supplier performance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain and materials planning.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage global vendor relationships and performance.

Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials aligned with the master production schedule (OTIF).

Coordinate inbound logistics with freight forwarding agents.

Monitor supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.
-
Maintain accurate purchase order records and prepare weekly material status reports.
-
Handle vendor returns, rejections, and MSR (Material Shortage Report) processes.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve supply and material planning issues.

Support supply chain transformation projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Diploma or ITI in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in supply chain or logistics within a manufacturing environment.

Experience with international suppliers; exposure to switchgear industry is a strong plus.

Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft D365).

Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Analytical, data-driven mindset with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
