Role Description

The Business Development Specialist will focus on driving sales growth, adoption, and market penetration for single ply roofing technologies. The role requires collaboration with internal teams, technical expertise, market analysis, strategic planning, and supporting marketing and training initiatives. This position is a thought leadership role requiring strong industry knowledge and the ability to manage cross-functional projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and contribute to annual business plans for roofing sales teams.

• Serve as technical expert in assigned market segments.

• Identify market gaps and growth opportunities.

• Collaborate on product launches, marketing campaigns, and training programs.

• Support sales initiatives with tools, collateral, and value calculators.

• Engage with industry associations and support trade shows.

• Travel up to 75% to meet clients and attend events.

• Provide regular updates on performance and initiatives to leadership.

Experience & Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of roofing market segments and technologies.

• Strong business acumen and communication skills.

• Ability to analyze data and identify trends quickly.

• Experience influencing cross-functional teams.

• Ability to travel extensively.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Physical Demands

Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
