Business Development Manager – (UAE & Oman)

Braxtone Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth initiatives within the insurance sector across the UAE and Oman. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, ideal for a self-driven professional with deep knowledge of the regional insurance market.

The primary objective of this role is to expand the firm’s presence by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and delivering tailored consultancy services. The BDM will work closely with internal teams and serve as a key liaison between client needs and the firm’s offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy focused on the insurance sector across UAE and Oman.

  • Identify and acquire new clients including insurance companies, brokers, and other industry stakeholders.

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with senior decision-makers and represent the firm at industry events.

  • Conduct market research and monitor regulatory and competitor activity to uncover new opportunities.

  • Prepare customized proposals, presentations, and negotiate contracts aligned with company objectives.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (consulting, marketing, operations) to ensure top-tier service delivery.

  • Set business development KPIs and report progress regularly to senior management.

  • Maintain up-to-date records of all business activities and client interactions via CRM tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field.

  • Professional certification such as CII or CPCU is mandatory.

  • At least 7 years of experience in business development or sales within the insurance industry.

  • Proven success in closing deals and driving revenue in the insurance or consultancy sector.

  • Deep understanding of the GCC insurance market, including regulatory standards and operational frameworks.

  • Fluent in both Arabic and English.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.

  • Goal-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
