Pearson is seeking a Business Development Manager – GCC to expand its reach across the GCC, delivering solutions that support national priorities in employability, skilling, and digital transformation. This role focuses on both corporate enterprises and government bodies in the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and beyond, using a consultative sales approach to align Pearson’s global solutions with local workforce development goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Drive Sales & Growth: Own regional sales targets, focusing on high-value opportunities in the corporate and public sectors. Use a consultative approach to deliver solutions in digital learning, upskilling, and soft skills.

Corporate & Government Engagement: Develop insights into workforce development and engage with Ministries of Education, Labor, and Digital Transformation. Navigate government procurement processes to ensure Pearson’s inclusion in national initiatives.

Strategic Market Expansion: Support the MENAT leadership team in shaping a 3-year go-to-market strategy that aligns with GCC market trends and national agendas.

Collaboration & Execution: Partner with product, marketing, and implementation teams to deliver tailored learning solutions. Track pipeline and key account data using CRM platforms like Salesforce.
Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of 7 years in enterprise sales, preferably in L&D, workforce upskilling, digital learning, or HR tech.

Skills:

Proven success working with government stakeholders and enterprise decision-makers.

Strong knowledge of regional government procurement and funding mechanisms.

Excellent negotiation, consultative selling, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Fluent in Arabic and English (French is a plus).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
