Barry Callebaut Group is hiring a Business Development Manager for Egypt, based in Dubai. This role is responsible for driving chocolate product sales, developing the Gourmet and Food Manufacturer (FM) market, and expanding the customer base through new accounts and distributors. The candidate will also oversee inter-regional sales operations, manage key accounts, and act as the primary representative for Egypt’s chocolate business.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Develop and grow the Gourmet and FM chocolate market in Egypt.
🔹 Manage existing accounts and maximize sales margins.
🔹 Identify new customer needs and develop tailored product applications.
🔹 Build strong relationships with key end-users and distributors.
🔹 Oversee sales forecasting, planning, and territory expansion.
🔹 Ensure high customer service standards and resolve product/supply chain issues.
🔹 Stay updated on industry trends and provide marketing/technical support.
Job Requirements:
🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Commerce, or a related field.
📈 Minimum 5+ years of commercial experience in the food industry.
🌍 Strong understanding of Food Manufacturer Business and chocolate/cocoa products.
🗣 Fluent in English and Arabic.
✈ Frequent travel required (60% of work time) within Egypt & to BC locations (Dubai, Casablanca, Louviers).
🤝 Strong commercial drive, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
