Business Development Manager – Artificial Lift
NOV Dubai , UAE

NOV is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager – Artificial Lift to drive the growth of its artificial lift portfolio in the Gulf (GCC) region. This full-time position requires a deep technical and commercial understanding of Artificial Lift systems, with specific expertise in Progressive Cavity Pumps (PCP), Rod Lift Accessories (RLA), Automation (AUTO), and Hydraulic Pumping Units (HPU). The role involves frequent travel (up to 50%) across the GCC region and requires strong skills in customer relationship management, sales forecasting, and the ability to work independently and in compliance with company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote NOV ALS verticals (PCP, RLA, AUTO, HPU) within the defined sales territory

  • Report on sales activities through the company CRM platform

  • Coordinate sales processes and product qualification with internal teams

  • Provide monthly financial revenue forecasting reports

  • Engage with the legal team to draft agreements and sales contracts

  • Achieve product qualification and revenue targets

  • Travel across GCC and MENA regions to establish relationships and generate new business

Experience/Education/Skills Required:

  • 1-3+ years of experience with Artificial Lift systems in oilfield environments

  • 1-3+ years in a Business Development role, preferably in oil and gas

  • Knowledge of preparation and testing of artificial lift equipment and familiarity with API/ISO standards

  • Proven track record in sales and business development with experience in financial forecasting and strategy execution

  • Ability to work independently and in compliance with company policies

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with a certificate of competency

Essential Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering

  • Strong technical understanding of Artificial Lift systems, particularly PCPs

  • Proven experience with CRM platforms and sales strategies

  • Knowledge of incoterms, contract formulation, and working with legal teams

Desirable Skills:

  • Additional knowledge of AUTO, RLA, and HPU systems

  • Experience with CFER and S-ROD design software

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
