Position: Business Development Manager – Logistics & Freight Forwarding

NMT Logistics, a global leader in international freight forwarding and logistics solutions, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join its Dubai team. This strategic role focuses on expanding the company’s market footprint in the UAE by driving new business, nurturing client relationships, and supporting commercial growth in air, sea, and land freight services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities in the logistics and freight forwarding sector.

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, offering tailored logistics solutions to meet their evolving needs.

• Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to optimize sales strategy.

• Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals, quotations, and contract negotiations.

• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings to promote service offerings.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and customer service teams to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction.

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while maintaining a strong pipeline of leads.

• Provide sales forecasts, performance updates, and market intelligence reports to senior leadership.

Candidate Requirements:

• 3–6 years of proven experience in business development or sales within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.

• Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs clearance, FCL/LCL, air freight, and multimodal logistics.

• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Proactive, target-driven, and skilled in building strategic client relationships.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus.

• Willingness to travel within the UAE and internationally as needed.
