Carter Murray is actively seeking a Business Development Manager to join its team in Dubai. This full-time, on-site role requires a strategic professional with strong experience in the construction sector—particularly in Fire Steel Profile and Internal Glazing systems. The selected candidate will play a key role in client acquisition, project approvals, commercial and technical proposal preparation, and coordinating with cross-functional departments to drive successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients in the construction industry.

Drive project approvals and qualifications through strategic planning.

Collaborate with the Sales team to convert client approvals into confirmed orders.

Manage technical aspects of the Fire Steel Profile division, with a focus on Internal Glazing (Forster, RP-Technik, Aluflam, Vetrotech, Pilkington).

Prepare and submit high-quality commercial and technical proposals.

Review shop drawings and technical submittals.
-
Coordinate with factory teams for fire-rated, bullet-resistant, and decorative glazing projects.

Organize project activities, production orders, and material take-offs.
-
Maintain communication with consultants and MEP engineers to ensure regulatory compliance.

Conduct market research and prepare quarterly competitive analysis reports.
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience in business development within the construction industry.

Deep technical understanding of Fire Steel Profiles and Internal Glazing systems.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.

Proficiency in proposal writing, commercial negotiations, and shop drawing reviews.

Ability to solve complex problems and suggest viable technical alternatives.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
