HS Group is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, developing strategies for market expansion, and managing high-stakes projects aligned with organizational goals. This role involves conducting market research, developing business plans, and managing bid submissions.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth research on new markets for geographical expansion.

Develop business plans covering growth opportunities, market penetration strategies, and stakeholder mapping.

Perform competition analysis and assess public procurement laws.

Identify and evaluate new business opportunities.
-
Formulate and implement strategies to pursue potential projects.
-
Manage and coordinate bid submissions (PQs, RFPs) across relevant internal functions.
-
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and governmental entities.

Develop project structures for financing and export credit agency (ECA) arrangements.

Provide commercial and project finance expertise to support strategic initiatives.

Prepare and deliver presentations for senior management and clients.

Provide actionable insights for top-management meetings and submissions.
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Must be currently residing in the UAE.
-
At least 7 years of experience in business development.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in contracting companies (construction industry).

Experience with International Funding Agencies (e.g., World Bank, UN organizations).

Strong connections with companies in the MEA region (Africa and the Middle East).

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
-
French and Portuguese language skills are a plus.

MBA certificate is preferable.

Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
