Job Title: Business Development Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic Marketing & Business Development (MBD) team in Dubai. This role will be responsible for driving business growth, managing client relationships, executing marketing strategies, and securing new opportunities in the Middle East region.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, professional services, and legal markets, with proven expertise in strategic planning, client acquisition, and profile-raising activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Planning & Strategy:

Develop and execute annual business plans, budget proposals, and marketing campaigns.

Oversee BD initiatives across legal practices, ensuring regional and global objectives are met.

Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion strategies.

Monitor business development budgets and track performance.
Client & Market Development:

Act as the first point of contact for potential new clients and fund managers.

Conduct in-depth market research to identify client needs and competitive positioning.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
-
Provide insights into the GCC investment landscape and align services to client needs.
Sales & Bid Management:

Manage and oversee strategic bids, pricing strategies, and client proposals.

Ensure high-quality sales materials, presentations, and legal panel applications.

Track and analyze pitch success rates, providing recommendations for improvement.
Profile Raising & Brand Positioning:

Work closely with PR and Communications teams to enhance the firm’s market profile.

Manage the production of high-impact marketing materials, reports, and campaigns.

Ensure consistent brand messaging across digital and traditional marketing channels.

Organize and attend industry events, networking opportunities, and roundtable discussions.
Best Practices & Compliance:

Promote adherence to global BD standards and best practices.

Utilize CRM tools and data analytics to drive insights and business decisions.

Support legal and compliance teams with documentation, contracts, and risk assessments.
Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Law, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in business development within professional services, legal, or finance.

Strong sales, negotiation, and networking skills in the GCC market.

Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills.

Expertise in client relationship management, B2B sales, and strategic marketing.

Familiarity with legal industry trends, investment strategies, and market intelligence.
