About the Role:
Lifecare is seeking a Business Development Manager who is driven, strategic, and relationship-focused to fuel our growth in the health insurance space. This role involves acquiring new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. You’ll act as a key link between our clients and insurers, bringing deep market insight and a proactive approach to relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the health insurance and medical coverage sector

• Build and manage long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention

• Negotiate impactful and compliant insurance deals, working closely with internal teams and insurers

• Leverage your industry knowledge to resolve client issues, explain technical insurance matters, and provide best-fit solutions

• Represent Lifecare at networking events and professional groups (e.g., British Chamber of Commerce) to expand business reach

• Collaborate with senior management to meet sales targets and enhance service offerings

Skills & Qualifications:

• CII certified or equivalent insurance qualification (mandatory)

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in health insurance sales, ideally with a brokerage in the UAE or GCC

• Strong grasp of contractual and regulatory procedures in medical insurance

• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, especially when engaging with senior-level stakeholders

• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

• Active networker; member of professional groups is a plus
