Role Overview
PETCHEM DMCC is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to support the growth of its chemicals and petrochemicals distribution business in Dubai and the wider GCC region.
The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, and expanding PETCHEM DMCC’s footprint across regional and international petrochemical markets. The ideal candidate is commercially driven, market-aware, and experienced in B2B chemical or petrochemical sales.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Growth

Identify and pursue new business development opportunities within the chemicals and petrochemicals sector.

Expand PETCHEM DMCC’s market presence across the UAE, GCC, and nearby regions.

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and long-term profitability.
Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, suppliers, and strategic partners.

Understand client requirements and propose tailored chemical and petrochemical solutions.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and account retention.
Market Intelligence & Strategy

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to track industry trends, pricing, and customer demand.

Provide insights to internal teams to support product positioning and strategic decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with internal teams including sales, marketing, logistics, and operations to align business objectives.

Support proposal development, pricing strategies, and commercial negotiations.
Commercial Negotiation & Deal Closure

Prepare and deliver professional presentations and proposals to clients and stakeholders.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms to maximize margins while maintaining long-term partnerships.

Close agreements in line with company policies and growth targets.
Networking & Industry Presence

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and networking forums.

Enhance brand visibility and strengthen PETCHEM DMCC’s position in the petrochemical market.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
-
5+ years of experience in business development or sales within chemical, petrochemical, or oil & gas industries.

Proven success in B2B sales, client acquisition, and market expansion.
Skills & Competencies

Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and proposal development abilities.

Mobility & Language
